Japanese Maple House Maples can be easily recognisable by their leaves. The typical distinctively shaped five lobed, maple leaf is famously used on the Canadian flag. Almost every maple shows a spectacular leaf colour, spanning the whole colour spectrum; red, orange, yellow, green, purple, dark wine coloured, almost black and golden brown, with numerous variegated varieties. So no matter which you choose you are guaranteed a dramatic display of summer and autumn colour. Throughout the winter the brightly coloured bark is very attractive too. |
